Hamilton is a stylish men's extra wide fitting house shoe, in a generous 6V fitting from the high-quality shoemaker DB Shoes and is an excellent choice for men who demand the very best.
Hamilton also offers extra depth to accommodate swollen feet, bunions, gout and other serious foot conditions. The insoles can also be removed to create additional width and depth if required (increased width and depth to an 8E fitting)
The Hamilton has dual Velcro close strap that can be adjusted for a custom fit. The strap design also allows easy access for the foot, as it can be opened right out when putting on.
Hamilton offers more support than a standard slipper. The sole is solid and hard-wearing, and the uppers have a built-in heel stiffen to give the shoe more structure.
The hard-wearing sole means you can happily wear them outside, so perfect for short walks to the shops or for enjoying a coffee on the patio.
The uppers are made with soft velour and extremely comfortable.
The sole can be spliced to allow for a lift to be added.

This model is a 6V width fitting.
A 6V fitting is an extra-wide fitting, and one of our widest. This fitting offers lots of width and extra depth in the toe area.
A 6V fitting means the fit can be adjusted to increase the depth of the shoe, increasing it from a 6E to an 8E fitting.
Additional depth in a shoe is important for conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, gout and swelling as it stops toes rubbing against the top of the shoe which can cause irritation and discomfort.
A variable fit is recommended for those who may need to adjust the fit over the day or are recovering from a procedure where the foot is swollen as the fit can be reduced as the swelling recedes.
These width fittings are not available on the high street, even at well known wide fitting shops.
