Suitable for
Alison from Cosyfeet is a comfortable and stylish extra wide fit Velcro close shoe for ladies with swollen feet or foot conditions such as bunions and hammer toes.
Alison is a 6E width fitting, offering plenty of width and a deep toe box. Cosyfeet has hidden this extra depth through clever design, and the shoe appears to be a standard depth when viewed on the foot.
Alison is crafted from beautifully soft leather, and this ultra-adjustable shoe fits a variety of tricky feet. The triple Velcro straps ensure a comfortable and secure fit, and allows plenty of adjustments to accommodate swelling and foot issues.
Made on a deep last, it’s very generous across the front, so it’s ideal if you need extra room for bunions or problem toes. It also opens right out, so it’s easy to put on, even if you’re bandaged or you feet are very swollen.
The insole can be removed if required for additional depth or to create space to insert your own orthotics.
The sole is hardwearing but flexible and lightweight, so ideal if you are on your feet all day or enjoy long walks at the weekend.
Alison also has a seam free lining suitable for diabetics and those with sensitive feet due to swelling. The underfoot cushioning also helps to make the Alison bliss for sensitive feet.
Extension Velcro straps are available on this model if required (sold separately).

This model is a 6E width fitting.
A 6E fitting is an extra wide fitting, and one of our widest.
Not only does this fitting offer plenty of width, it also has extra depth and is recommended for those with serious foot conditions such as large bunions, gout and very swollen feet.
This width is much wider than anything you can find on the high street and is only available from specialist wide fitting shops and websites.
If you have oedema or swelling, and the conditions varies through the day, then we would try a 6V fitting instead of a 6E. A 6V fitting offers more flexibility in the fitting and can be adjusted to cope with fluctuations in your condition.Still not sure what width fitting you need?
