We are delighted to announce that Wideload has launched a new range of casual boots in their deep, wide fittings. Wideload is the brand behind our best-selling safety boots, and this is their first move into casual boot styles.
The Wideload 590 is an extra-wide soft-toe boot in a 6E width fitting with classic styling.
The toe box has the same dimensions as their safety boots—15mm wider and 8mm deeper than a standard fitting—and will accommodate serious foot conditions such as oedema, hammertoes, and swelling.
So, if you enjoy the fit of their safety boot range, you will love the fit of their casual styles!
The Wideload 590CZN offers the same high level of craftsmanship and materials as their safety boots.
The leather uppers are water-resistant, and the boots are fully lined. The boot is a lace-up style but has a side zipper with a protective leather flap to make them easy to put on and take off.
The boots have a soft toe but benefit from features you might expect in a work boot. The nitrile rubber sole is antistatic, as well as slip and heat resistant up to 300 degrees. The boots also feature a fiberglass shank in the sole and coated NylBond stitching.
The Wideload 590 comes with two insoles, allowing you to fine-tune the fit for maximum comfort and additional depth in the boot if required.
The Wideload 590 would make a fantastic extra-wide hiking or trekking boot, or anything that requires a rugged, hard-wearing boot that looks great on the foot!

Not only does this fitting offer plenty of width, it also has extra depth and is recommended for those with serious foot conditions such as large bunions, gout and very swollen feet.
This width is much wider than anything you can find on the high street and is only available from specialist wide fitting shops and websites.
If you have oedema or swelling, and the conditions varies through the day, then we would try a 6V fitting instead of a 6E. A 6V fitting offers more flexibility in the fitting and can be adjusted to cope with fluctuations in your condition.
