Suitable for
Caspian from DB shoes is a men's extra-wide fitting casual trainer/shoe in a 6V fitting, which offers an extra deep toe box to accommodate foot conditions such as hammertoes, gout and swelling.
You asked us for a modern casual trainer in a really wide fit, and here it is!
Caspian looks great. Great detailing on the uppers gives it a contemporary look. The contrasting sole colour looks fresh and modern.
The leather used in the uppers is soft and supple, so it shapes around any bumps or bunions you may have.
Caspian comes with 2 air-cushioned insoles which allows you to customise the shoe to a perfect fit. Removing both insoles increases the width to an 8E width fitting, which offers lots of width and extra depth for swollen feet.
The rubber outsole offers plenty of grip and cushioning.
With attractive stitch detailing and metal eyelets, the Caspian is an attractive trainer and would look great paired with chinos, jeans or cargos.
Healthy Footwear Guide approved shoe.

This model is a 6V width fitting.
A 6V fitting is an extra-wide fitting, and one of our widest. This fitting offers lots of width and extra depth in the toe area.
A 6V fitting means the fit can be adjusted to increase the depth of the shoe, increasing it from a 6E to an 8E fitting.
Additional depth in a shoe is important for conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, gout and swelling as it stops toes rubbing against the top of the shoe which can cause irritation and discomfort.
A variable fit is recommended for those who may need to adjust the fit over the day or are recovering from a procedure where the foot is swollen as the fit can be reduced as the swelling recedes.
These width fittings are not available on the high street, even at well known wide fitting shops.
