Benedict from DB shoes is a men's extra-wide fitting casual trainer/shoe in a 6V fitting, which offers an extra deep toe box to accommodate foot conditions such as hammertoes, gout and swelling.

Made by DB Shoes, a highly regarded manufacturer of wide fitting shoes, who specialise in designing high-quality, comfortable footwear for the wider foot and those with a range of foot conditions.

Benedict has a modern, fashionable look. The uppers are made with soft, supple leather uppers with eye-catching brown and blue suede detailing. The contrasting sole colour also adds a contemporary feel.

The round toe shape is seam free, so no annoying seams if you have sensitive feet or suffer from diabetes.

Benedict comes with 2 air-cushioned insoles so you can customise the shoe to a perfect fit. Removing both insoles increases the width to an 8E width fitting, which offers lots of width and extra depth for swollen feet.

The rubber outsole offers plenty of grip and cushioning.

With attractive stitch detailing and metal eyelets, the Benedict is an attractive trainer and would look great paired with chinos, jeans or cargos.

6V Variable Width Fitting Shoes - Adjustable Depth For Swollen Feet

A  6V fitting is an extra-wide fitting, and one of our widest. This fitting offers lots of width and extra depth in the toe area.

A 6V fitting means the fit can be adjusted to increase the depth of the shoe, increasing it from a 6E to an 8E fitting.

Additional depth in a shoe is important for conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, gout and swelling as it stops toes rubbing against the top of the shoe which can cause irritation and discomfort.

A variable fit is recommended for those who may need to adjust the fit over the day or are recovering from a procedure where the foot is swollen as the fit can be reduced as the swelling recedes.

These width fittings are not available on the high street, even at well known wide fitting shops.
