Suitable for
Keeston is a new addition to our range of ladies' extra wide-fit slippers.
It is a 6V width fitting, which means it is suitable for ladies with swollen feet, large bunions or hammer toes.
They are designed by DB Shoes, who are a well-respected shoemaker in the UK.
Keeston has a large close Velcro strap, which can be adjusted to accommodate swollen feet or high insteps.
The tongue of the Keeston opens up completely for easy access.
We particularly liked the lining of Keeston, which has the feel of soft suede.
The slipper has a reinforced heel stiffener for additional stability and support and a foam insole for cushioning.
If you have your own insoles or orthotics, the insoles can easily be removed. They can also be removed if you need additional depth.
The slipper can be worn outside as it has a stiff outer sole, so it is perfect for coffee on the patio or walks around the garden. However the uppers you need to keep the uppers dry.
Machine washable to 30 degrees Centigrade.
Healthy Footwear Guide approved.

This model is a 6V width fitting.
A 6V fitting is an extra-wide fitting, and one of our widest. This fitting offers lots of width and extra depth in the toe area.
A 6V fitting means the fit can be adjusted to increase the depth of the shoe, increasing it from a 6E to an 8E fitting.
Additional depth in a shoe is important for conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, gout and swelling as it stops toes rubbing against the top of the shoe which can cause irritation and discomfort.
A variable fit is recommended for those who may need to adjust the fit over the day or are recovering from a procedure where the foot is swollen as the fit can be reduced as the swelling recedes.
These width fittings are not available on the high street, even at well known wide fitting shops.
