Our widest and most comfortable work boot. The 690WZN is a fantastic extra wide fitting safety boot from the Wide Load brand and is one of our best sellers. Our customers find this the most comfortable safety boot they have ever tried!

This work boot has a padded tongue and heel collar, as well as soft comfort insoles and breathable lining to help keep your feet cool and cushioned while you work.

The 690WZ has a zip opening to make it easy to put on and take off - a nice feature if you are tired after a long day! The boot also features a lower zip guard to protect the zip from mud and dirt.

If you have been disappointed with other 'wide' work and safety boots we can guarantee that you will love this one. It is one of the few work boots to come in the extra-wide width 6E fitting.

The steel toe cap is 15mm wider and 6mm deeper than standard safety boots to remove pinching around the toes and to give you plenty of room under the toe cap.

If you have swollen feet, severe bunions, hammertoes or other serious foot problems then we strongly recommend that you try this work boot.

  • This model is a 6E width fitting.

A 6E fitting is an extra wide fitting, and one of our widest.

Not only does this fitting offer plenty of width, it also has extra depth and is recommended for those with serious foot conditions such as large bunions, gout and very swollen feet.

Extra Wide Fitting 6E Width With Deeper Toe Box

This width is much wider than anything you can find on the high street and is only available from specialist wide fitting shops and websites.

If you have oedema or swelling, and the conditions varies through the day, then we would try a 6V fitting instead of a 6E. A 6V fitting offers more flexibility in the fitting and can be adjusted to cope with fluctuations in your condition.

What is the difference between a 4E and 6E width fitting?

Still not sure what width fitting you need?

You can read our comprehensive guide on width fittings to learn everything you need to know about width fittings.

You can also measure your width using our simple width measurement guide.

If you would rather just talk to someone about your particular situation, call us on 0208 819 7756. We have helped thousands of customers with feet related issues get the right shoes, and we would be delighted to help you too.
