This model is a 2V, which is an extra wide fitting.
A 2V fitting is a 2E width fitting that can be adjusted to a wider and deeper 4E fitting if needed.
This could be due to clever, accommodating uppers that naturally expand around the foot, removable insoles or Velcro straps, where allows the fit to be loosened if required.
This is a great option if you know you need a wider fitting, but are unsure how much extra room you need.
A 2V width will accommodate moderate bunions and swelling, naturally wide feet and other foot conditions such as gout and hammer toes. If your feet are very swollen or you have a medical foot condition that requires a very wide and deep shoe then we recommend you look at our wider fittings.
You won't find this fitting in high-street shoe shops.
Most high-street shoes are a C or D fit, so a 2V fit gives extra width around the toes and ball of the foot, and extra depth if you need it.
