Aurora is a wonderful ladies wide fitting walking shoe from DB Shoes with a Velcro close strap.

Everything in this shoe has been designed to maximise comfort without compromising on styling.

The width fitting in this model is a 2V fitting (it also comes in a 6V fitting which is much wider and deeper and more suitable for serious foot conditions)

The shoe has twin insoles. One can be removed for some extra room inside the shoe or for you to use your own orthotics.

The soft uppers are made from a stretch material to avoid pressure on painful corns and bunions and the shoe can be opened up for easy access, a wonderful feature if you have swollen feet.

The shock-absorbing soles are supportive yet lightweight and flexible.

A delightful shoe from DB Shoes, extremely comfortable with an attractive design and styling.

Wide Shoes is a Gold Star stockist of DB Shoes, which is an official recognition from DB Shoes. It displays our commitment to offering a range of wider fitting shoes in fittings including EE, 4E, 6E and 8E. It also demonstrates our years of experience (over 40 years!) in fitting wide shoes!

  • This model is a 2V, which is an extra wide fitting.

A 2V fitting is a 2E width fitting that can be adjusted to a wider and deeper 4E fitting if needed.

This could be due to clever, accommodating uppers that naturally expand around the foot, removable insoles or Velcro straps, where allows the fit to be loosened if required.

This is a great option if you know you need a wider fitting, but are unsure how much extra room you need.

A 2V width will accommodate moderate bunions and swelling, naturally wide feet and other foot conditions such as gout and hammer toes. If your feet are very swollen or you have a medical foot condition that requires a very wide and deep shoe then we recommend you look at our wider fittings.

2V Variable Fitting Shoes - Ideal for Oedema and Swollen Feet

You won't find this fitting in high-street shoe shops.

Most high-street shoes are a C or D fit, so a 2V fit gives extra width around the toes and ball of the foot, and extra depth if you need it.

Still not sure what width fitting you need?

You can read our comprehensive guide on width fittings to learn everything you need to know about width fittings.

You can also measure your width using our simple width measurement guide.

If you would rather just talk to someone about your particular situation, call us on 0208 819 7756. We have helped thousands of customers with feet related issues get the right shoes, and we would be delighted to help you too.
